My stay at Dong Khanh Hotel was decent, but it had some ups and downs. The room was spacious and comfy, but I missed the complimentary coffee and tea from past visits. The location in Cho Lon was a unique experience, but the breakfast options were a bit limited when fewer guests were around.

I booked a Superior Double and ended up with a room that had both a double and single bed, which was a nice bonus. The wifi was strong and the air conditioning worked well. The room didn’t smell like smoke, though the hallway did have a hint of it.
Service

The staff was super helpful and patient with my requests. They even switched my room to make sure I was comfortable. However, I noticed the menu options were limited since a lot of the staff were away for the Tet holidays.
Location

The location in Cho Lon offered a peek into local culture, a refreshing change from the busier parts of the city. It’s a bit far from the main attractions, but I enjoyed wandering through the streets and soaking in the atmosphere.

The breakfast was served a la carte due to fewer guests, which made it a bit limited. The variety was not as plentiful as I remembered from previous visits, and some items on the menu were pricier than expected.
Facilities

The hotel offers a range of facilities like room service and laundry, which were handy during my stay. Still, I think they could expand on dining options, especially when there are fewer guests.

I had a decent stay at Dong Khanh Hotel. the room was comfortable and clean, but I noticed some amenities were lacking compared to my previous visits. The breakfast was just average. a mix of a la carte and buffet options depending on the number of guests, which I found a bit inconvenient.

The staff were wonderful and always polite. they even helped me find the best taxi rate for a trip to the Mekong Delta. However, I did notice the limited food menu due to Tet holidays, which impacted my dining options.

My room, a Superior Double, was cozy, and I appreciated the lack of cigarette smell in it. The air conditioning was fairly new, but the hallway had a bit of smoke odor. Overall, it was comfortable but smaller than I expected, at 22 m² instead of the advertised 28 m².
